VOLUNTEERING
 

There are many ways you can help DAV-5, including learning to become a Certified Service Officer to help with claims, or as a Greeter at our reception desk, or perhaps you have a special skill that would be helpful to the chapter.  

 

To be considered as a candidate as a certified Chapter Service Officer (CSO), you need to be a member of DAV and be willing to donate at least two days a month in the position.  As a CSO, you will go through a period of OJT with a mentor and attend a two-day formal training every year.

 

Our greeters fulfill a very important role in creating a caring and cheerful atmosphere during our hours open to the public.  If you have a winning smile and enjoy meeting people, this is a job for you.  You will be the focal point for people walking through the front door, ensuring they get on the right path for the help they are seeking.
